Henry Bonges for Vermont House
Meet Henry
Henry Bonges has called Vermont home since 1981, when he moved here after graduating from the University of Illinois to begin his engineering career with IBM. He grew up in a small farm town in Illinois, and in Milton he and his father built the home where he and his wife raised their two children and still live today. Along with his bachelor’s degree in engineering, Henry has earned a master’s degree in engineering and an MBA from the University of Vermont, a master’s degree in theology from Saint Michael’s College, and an ALM in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard Extension School.
Over the years, he has served his community through work with the Milton Town Energy Committee, the Milton Planning Commission, the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, the Chittenden Solid Waste District, Green Mountain Transit, hospice volunteering, and the Community Justice Center, where he taught math to inmates through the Vermont Department of Corrections. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Milton Library Board of Trustees.
Henry is running for Vermont House of Representative Chittenden-Franklin to be a proud, strong voice for Milton and Georgia in Montpelier.
